Coach Meffy started his football career at Woodside High School in Redwood City, CA. where he was named to the 2012 All-Peninsula Ocean Division First Team.

He continued his football career at the University of Hawai’i and was named Mountain West Honorable Mention in both 2016 and 2017.

Following his college career, he continued on to the NFL where he signed with the Oakland Raiders as an Undrafted Free Agent.

Following his time with the Raiders, he continued his professional career with the San Diego Fleet in the Alliance of American Football League (AAF).

Following his single year in the AAF, Meffy went on to be drafted into the X-Football-League (XFL) but instead chose to continue his football career in the Canadian Football League (CFL)…

While in the CFL, he played for the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2019, he helped the Winnipeg Blue Bombers claim their 11th Grey Cup (equivalent to the Super Bowl in the NFL).

Coach Meffy joins the KO staff as our Defensive Line Coach and National Scout. He and his brother Coach Leo Coach Leo co-founded KO Bros with the hopes of providing guidance to families who are currently undergoing the youth sports and college recruiting process.
