Our KO Bows Flag Football Program is dedicated to young female athletes looking to grow in a sport that’s making waves across the nation. With women’s flag football on the rise, especially here in California, we are excited to offer an opportunity to be part of this movement. Our program brings together athletes, families, and the community to create a space where competitive skill development meets personal growth, empowerment, and faith.

Flag football for young women is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. It offers a unique chance for female athletes to excel in a high-energy, low-contact sport that is breaking barriers and creating new opportunities. With the recent inclusion of flag football in the 2028 Olympic Games, and the launch of college-level programs offering scholarships, young women today have an unprecedented chance to build real, rewarding athletic careers in flag football. However, the sport is still in its early stages, and access to structured, supportive environments remains limited. That’s where we come in.

Our Program’s Goals

KO Bows Flag Football is built upon four key goals that define our commitment to our athletes and community:

1. Building Foundational Infrastructure for Girls’ Flag Football
   We recognize that, while girls’ flag football is expanding, it lacks the foundational support that other sports enjoy. Our program is dedicated to providing the structure and resources needed for young women to excel, creating pathways from youth leagues through high school and into college, where scholarship opportunities are increasingly available. We’re committed to being a leader in the development of girls’ flag football by offering coaching, league organization, and skill-building opportunities that help drive the sport forward.

2. Empowering Today’s Young Women
   Flag football is more than a game. It’s a powerful tool to instill confidence, self-pride, and an appreciation for one’s identity and femininity. We strive to create an environment where young women are empowered to take pride in who they are, build their self-esteem, and feel strong and capable. Through flag football, we teach our athletes that their strength, dedication, and pride are assets, both on and off the field.

3. Establishing a Supportive Family Environment
   We understand that a supportive, family-centered environment can have a profound impact on young athletes’ lives. Our KO Bows Flag Football Program fosters a sense of belonging and community that extends beyond the sport. We aim to be a part of our athletes’ social lives, providing a positive, inclusive, and uplifting environment that celebrates each player’s journey and achievements, creating friendships and bonds that last a lifetime.

4. Guiding Our Young Women in Faith
   At KO Bros and KO Bows, we are faith-centered. Our hope is that our flag football program becomes not only a hub for competitive growth and development but also a beacon of faith in the community. We are here to introduce our young women to God, walk alongside them in their spiritual journey, and support them in developing a deeper relationship with their faith. Through faith-based mentorship, we aim to inspire, guide, and uplift our athletes, helping them grow both on the field and within their hearts.
